Big news in the world of spring hockey!
Riot Rush Hockey, which runs Ottawa's prestigious spring hockey tournament, has decided to pass the torch to the Super Séries group and Maxpuissance, a company well known in the Outaouais region for its hockey schools and involvement in hockey.
Well known in the world of spring hockey in Canada’s capital, this tournament has been established since 2004 and has welcomed over 100 teams in 2023. Many renowned players and coaches have been part of this organization. The new owners have therefore decided to keep the Riot name. The tournament will now be called RIOT CUP.
The expertise and reputation of the Super Challenge powered by CCM, the biggest tournament in Canada and part of the Super Series, promises to bring a new dimension to this Ottawa event in terms of competition and festivities.
The new group's goal is to bring teams from across Canada and the U.S. to compete in the Riot Cup!
